Great base for exploring ancestral villages in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg. The small family-oriented hotel provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The presence of a riding academy adds a unique charm, with youngsters dressed for horsey things running around.

Not much English spoken, so it's helpful to have some basic German words. The hotel can be a bit tricky to find, but using GPS easily solves that problem.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the peaceful nature of the rural village location and the clean premises. the hotel had internet connectivity, which was useful for communicating with loved ones back home. the hotel also seemed to have a specific focus on horse riding and there were many children running around dressed up for the activity. This added a level of liveliness to the atmosphere.

I struggled with the language barrier as very few staff members spoke English.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was great, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff was great, making our experience even better. The location was perfect, great to easily explore the surrounding ancestral villages in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg. The breakfast provided was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from.
